The set consists of a 9-inch by 11-inch marble board that is freezer safe (and fits inside most freezers) and two anti-freeze cast aluminum ice cream spades. The marble board has rubber feet to help grip it to the countertop and to prevent scratching. All set components are dishwasher safe. Marble is non-porous and keeps moisture from penetrating. Directions: Store board and spades in freezer for at least a few hours prior to use to keep them chilled. Upon removing them, utilize your spades to transport your ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet from their original container to the marble board. Add blend-ins, and then just chop away.
